Weapons & Defensive Systems
| Shields |
|
Light Shielding System - This is the category of shielding usually found on fighters, shuttles, etc. While effective, it lacks the power and protective abilities of the standard and advanced shielding employed on larger vessels. |
| Weapon Systems |
|
Phasers: Type IV Array - The smallest phaser array currently deployed in the Federation, the Type IV is markedly superior to the Type III phaser rifle, providing more power, range, accuracy and adaptability. As such, it has been the workhorse of Starfleet’s auxiliary craft fleet for decades. Only now is it being replaced by the Type V array, a weapon of comparable simplicity but greater ability. It is not a very strong offensive measure but is capable of warding a small craft from many natural threats, such as asteroids and debris, and similar sized craft.
Torpedo Launchers: 2 (1 fore, 1 aft) |

Micro Photon Torpedoes: 30 - Based on the same principle as the photon torpedo, the micro-photon torpedo is 14cm in length. It’s small size allows it to be fired from a variety of smaller craft, such as fighters, shuttles and runabouts. It is primarily used against smaller vessels, as the damage it can do to medium-to large-sized starships is limited. |
